I live in Berlin but have a Mexican girlfriend. Her best friend here, Montse, is also Mexican, and a professional chef. We went to Montse's house for ceviche. There was a fresh white fish in lime juice from Montse's favorite fishmarket, an incredible habañero salsa, and a tomatillo salsa. I hadn't seen fresh tomatillos anywhere in Berlin but Montse knew someone who grows them and sells them at a market, and also where to get seeds. Later, my girlfriend and I bought fresh tomatillos there and we hope to grow our own soon.
